Meet members of the Minnesota State Patrol, check out the workings of a squad car, and experience what it’s like to sit in a patrol car at the 2017 Twin Cities Auto Show.

Troopers and their squads will located just east of the Ride & Drive section between Mini and Mitsubishi. They’ll answer your questions and talk about their mission to keep our roads safe.

Scheduled programs include:
• Career Opportunities – March 14: Learn about becoming a Minnesota State Trooper and ask a recruiter questions about career opportunities from 4–7 p.m.

• Distracted Driving - March 15: Texting while driving is like driving the length of a football field without looking up. Between 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Auto Show guests will have the opportunity to experience what it’s like to drive distracted with AAA’s distracted driving simulator.

• Minnesota State Patrol Flight Section – March 18: Come meet one of the Minnesota State Patrol Pilots who helps keep Minnesotans safe from the air. The patrol’s helicopters and airplanes are used for traffic enforcement, transport of law enforcement personnel, rescue missions and surveillance. The pilot will be at the Auto Show from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
